Past Master Gary D. Armstrong Sr.

Past Master Armstrong’s journey began July 3, 1970 to Brother George and Rev. Yvonne W. Armstrong.  He is the youngest of six.  WM Armstrong received his early education in the Sunflower School District, where he attended Carver Elementary and Middle School, Indianola Junior High School, and finally Gentry High School.  During the summer after his junior year PM Armstrong enlisted on the Delayed Entry Program for the US Army.  This in term granted him a short Graduation Summer before he’d left home at the age of 17 to his call of duty for this country. 

During his first duty station PM. Armstrong was brought to Light in Pride of Giessen Lodge # 63 where he was Initiated, Passed, and RAISED.  A few years later he was Advance to the Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret, where “Greater Gift Hath No Man Than This,” in Donald H. Coleman Consistory #329 then was created into one of the Nastiest Noble in Faisal Temple #192.  There was something missing from his Masonic Destiny, being a Prince and Noble was rewarding however, the Rite for him was not complete.  Six months later WM Armstrong was Exalted to a Royal Arch Mason in George C. Brooks Chapter #65 and Dubbed a Knights Templar in Ujima Commandery # 7.
